Clare is a Fellow of the British Psychological Society and has also been afforded Fellowship of the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) for her contributions to these professions.

Where are you located?

My office is at Level 26, 44 Market St, SYDNEY 2000. This is located on the corner of York and Market Streets, close to Town Hall station.

How much do you charge for individual sessions?

The rate is variable, depending on individual circumstances and whether a client seeks a set number of sessions or is seeking open-ended psychotherapy. This is discussed on the phone prior to the first session. The first meeting is always 1.5 hours and the cost is agreed prior to attendance. The cost of any future sessions is agreed in this initial session.

Can sessions be held on the phone or over the internet?

Sessions can be held on the phone or using Skype to accommodate clients who travel regularly. This is also possible when I am out of Sydney. However, it is preferable that a number of sessions are held in person before moving to Skype but this can be discussed from the outset.

Can I apply for Medicare Rebates on my work with you?

I am registered for the Medicare Rebate Scheme. With a doctor’s referral letter for sessions under Medicare, you will be able to claim back a portion of the cost of each session from Medicare. I ask that clients pay for each session and then claim back from Medicare upon receipt of my invoice. Refunds are usually given immediately in cash if you visit their offices, or paid into your account.

Are you registered with any healthcare providers?

As well as being registered with Medicare as a provider of psychological services, it is possible that rebates can be obtained from a client’s private health fund and a receipt can be provided for any sessions. It is the responsibility of the client to seek clarification that their sessions are covered under their private medical policy.

Do you run any workshops or skills based training?

I regularly run ½ day personal communications training in Sydney. Additionally I run a 16-month transformational program called the Communicate Accountability System. All my programs are infused with the philosophy of existential freedom and choice and encourage attendees to take full responsibility for their lives and choices and their part in creating the outcomes of their lives.
